MAR by Ricardo Reynal are delicacies using traditional methods employed by Portuguese fisherman for generations.
All fish are caught using time-honoured practices – Sardines and Mackerel using Purse Seine and Tuna using Pole & Line or FAD Free Purse Seine.
Once caught, the fish is worked by hand, cleaned and placed on grills to be cooked by steam. Then packed by hand with brine or Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. MAR is a premium brand and whole fillets not chunks are always used, this means you always get the best quality.
MAR ensures full traceability from ocean to tin. Their produce comes from sustainably managed fisheries, while the olive oil is EU-certified organic.
